For adult platforms, brands and agencies

Adult digital PR that journalists use

Adult digital PR earns coverage and links by giving journalists something they need: data nobody else has, a credible expert on deadline, or a clear explanation of a new rule. It is the hardest link to win for an adult brand, and the most valuable. We build the story, pitch it one to one, and tell you honestly what to expect.

What journalists say they want

Muck Rack's State of Journalism 2026 survey found that 88 per cent of journalists delete pitches that miss their beat. The pitch elements they value most are clear relevance, credible sources, original data and strong visuals, and they prefer one-to-one emails under 200 words, with one timely follow-up.

That describes our method almost exactly. We would rather send twenty pitches to the right reporters than two hundred to a list, and every story starts with something only your business can offer.

Four kinds of campaign

Each suits a different kind of adult business. Platforms often have the data; established brands often have the spokespeople. Ideas for each are collected in our research on adult digital PR ideas.

How a campaign runs

Around eight weeks from idea to coverage. Reactive commentary runs alongside, whenever a relevant story breaks.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Idea and data

Find the story in your data or expertise, and test it against what journalists have covered recently.

  2. Weeks 3 to 4

    Build the asset

A short write-up with the method, the numbers, non-explicit images and a named spokesperson.

  3. Weeks 5 to 6

    Pitch one to one

Short, personal emails to journalists whose beat fits, with one follow-up.

  4. Weeks 7 to 8

    Coverage and follow-through

Track coverage, request corrections where needed, and log every link in the ledger.

Honest expectations

Digital PR does not come with guarantees, and anyone offering them is selling something else. Some campaigns win national coverage; some win a handful of trade pieces. Some outlets do not link, and some links are nofollow.

Coverage without a followed link still counts. It builds your reputation, it produces brand mentions that search engines and AI assistants notice, and it makes the next pitch easier. Everything is logged, whatever it is worth, in the same ledger as our link building work.

Digital PR questions

Tell us what data or expertise you could share in your audit request.

Q. Can adult brands really get mainstream press coverage?

A. Yes, when the story is about data, business, technology, safety or regulation rather than the product itself. Journalists need sources on those subjects, and adult brands often have figures nobody else does.

Q. Will every piece of coverage include a link?

A. No. Some outlets do not link out, and some links are nofollow. Coverage still builds your reputation and brand mentions, which search engines and AI assistants both notice.

Q. How long does a campaign take?

A. Usually six to eight weeks from idea to first coverage: research, data work, a short write-up, then one-to-one pitching. Reactive commentary can land within days when a story breaks.

Q. Do you use press release distribution services?

A. Not for links. Google lists links with optimised anchor text in widely distributed press releases as a link scheme, and journalists are less likely to use a wire release from a brand they do not know.
